Knit Radar paper

My new green ruler arrived yesterday, and for good measure I also got 3 more double ended transfer tools as they are small and liable to go missing. Without one I would find it very difficult, if not impossible, to transfer from ribber to main bed. Now I am thinking I want to write my own radar patterns, but where can I get the paper. The KR6 is half size unlike the KR7 which is full size. But I did not want problem of storing the larger sheets, which is why I am delighted that the KR6 came up for sale.

The sheets of paper are as wide as a sheet of A4, but of course longer. Now can I sellotape them together? or would they get caught in the rollers?  I have checked on ebay and found that fax paper on rolls is the same width, but I am sure it will have perforations on. Now are these liable to tear off while going through the rollers?

I have been continuing with my hand knit pram blanket and have another 12 squares which are easy to knit while watching TV. I think I need another 12 and then its the dreaded sewing up. But half of this has been done already, so I think this item might actually be finished before 2013 ends :)

I use lining paper cut to the right width and find it works OK.
