3rd time lucky

I hate to be beaten and was determined to try to get this fishermans rib sorted once and for all. So very gingerly I once again set up the machine, cast on the 1x1 rib and did the 40 rows. Next step reset the machine for fishermans rib - here I discovered I had been putting the wrong tuck lever back. It should have been the left hand one and I had been doing the right hand one. Many eons ago my driving intructor wrote L and R on the backs of my hands for when I was reversing. It must have worked as I passed my test first time. Maybe I need to do the same again when sat at the knitting machine:) Though maybe just reading the instruction book correctly will work.
