RIP Bernard

On Friday afternoon our community lost a hero. Not the usual sort of hero, Bernard was a man who just did what he did and enriched many lives. Over the years he has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity. His farm hosted many great events annually. The Heritage Weekend, the Good Friday Bike Ride, Threshing Weekend and many more. I have been privileged to have helped out at several of these events over the last 5 years. Bernard will be missed by many many people, not least his wife Mary. God Bless you Bernard, you were truly one of life's gentlemen. The world really will be a poorer place without you in it.
