finally learnt to crochet

 

Had a friend staying from Germany. She is also mad about owls., So of course had to do her a pair of these for a leaving present.

Then decided to have another go at crochet. Never done a granny square before, but watching youtube meant I eventually managed this.

 The square then became a blankie, again with the help of youtube. And here it is :)
